At Rutland Preserves we are proud producers of traditional Jams, Marmalades, Relishes, Chutney and Mustard. All of our products are crafted in small batches using the finest locally sourced ingredients. Because all of our products are homemade, it means we are able to guarantee the best quality and great taste. We don't mess around adding anything to our products - other than the very fine natural ingredients that make them taste so great!

About Us

Rutland Preserves was established by Emma and Karen both of whom have a real passion for quality food and produce. Our business is based in the heart of Rutland, the county of Rutland being famous for being the smallest county in England, and, for Rutland Water, the largest man made reservoir in Europe. Rutland's motto 'Multum in Parvo' (meaning 'much in little') finely sums up what we aim to achieve with our produce, the best quality and finest ingredients packed into small jars, or for us, 'much in little jars.'

All of our products are carefully made without the use of colourings, preservatives, artificial flavourings or unnecessary ingredients. Wherever possible we seek to use locally sourced ingredients for all of our products, whether grown by ourselves in our vegetable gardens, foraged or scrumped from local hedgerows, or kindly donated from our very generous friends.

We now supply our fine homemade products to a wide selection of retailers. Our products are sold as single jars as well as gift boxes and hampers. Both gift boxes and hampers also make excellent corporate gifts. Don't hesitate to contact us for more details.
